Job Overview

 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at FCSCares. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide direct support and therapy to individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges. Your role will involve conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group counseling sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling, social work, behavioral health, Substance use and therapy techniques.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional and behavioral issues as well as substance use.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 for accurate documentation and billing purposes

- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Stay informed about current research and best practices in mental health therapy

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field such as Substance Use.

- Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist

- Proven experience in providing therapy services to individuals with behavioral health challenges

- Strong knowledge of therapy techniques and evidence-based practices

- Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-10 for accurate documentation and billing

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
