Is to help individuals, couples, and families develop positive coping skills to improve emotional and mental wellness and help improve skills for living. By providing culturally competent, spiritually sensitive, and trauma informed counseling services.

Filling a public mandate by providing Mental Health Services and fostering social change in the community. FCSCares.net is an organization that is committed to the well-being of others.  Evidenced by providing services to empower individuals, couples, and families to develop insights and tools to help move past painful experiences and disappointing aspects of life through exploring core longings of, love, security, understanding, purpose, significance and belonging.

Dr. Cynthia E. Woods, LPCC-S

Dr. Cynthia E. Woods is an independently licensed professional clinical counselor with supervising credentials (LPCC-S), issued by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.  She studied at Ashland Theological Seminary, where Dr. Cynthia obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and her Doctorate in Ministry specializing in Formational Counseling.  Dr. Cynthia currently runs her own private practice in Beachwood, Ohio, Foundational Counseling Services, where she provides culturally and spiritually sensitive counseling and workshops specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma and grief recovery, and EMDR Therapy.  She also holds privileges at University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic’s Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, Dr. Cynthia E. Woods has also authored books to assist married couples on developing coping skills to improve communication and resolve conflict.  Titled, Marriage: The Impact Of Using An Eight-Week Study On Communication And Conflict Resolution To Move Select Couples From Conflict To Forgiveness.
